We have lots of challenges but it's never boring
The choir performs regularly at smaller and larger events, which include a number of concerts with both rhythmic and classical repertoires. In 2012, the choir participated i.a. in a major international choir festival in South Tyrol with participants from a number of countries from around the world
Welcome to KreAktiv Choir
KreAktiv Choir was founded in 1994 as a mixed voice choir with a repertoire of mainly rhythmical music. Today, the choir comprises approximately 50 singers and rehearses once a week in Hinnerup.
The present repertoire comprises rhythmical music ranging from Abba, Beatles, Jesus Christ Superstar to modern Danish music, and also includes Danish and English Christmas Carols, folk music, as well as major classical choral works such as Niels W. Gade's Elverskud, Handel’s Messiah, and Mozart’s Requiem.
The choir has performed together with Randers Amateur Symphony orchestra, Hinnerup Brass band, Da Capo and Senex Brass bands and with other local choirs and soloists. In 2012, the choir performed at the Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival, which takes place in Val Pusteria in South Tyrol, Italy.
The choir’s musical director is Vibeke Mølgaard Hansen.
